Privacy Policy
This Time Last Year · Last updated: June 2026
This Time Last Year is built to do its job without collecting anything about you. This policy explains, plainly, what that means.
What we collect: nothing.
This Time Last Year does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no logins, and no analytics. The app makes no network connections and sends no data off your device.
Your photos stay on your device.
The app reads your photo library only to show you the photos taken on today's date across past years, and to let you delete the ones you choose. All of this happens entirely on your iPhone. Your photos are never uploaded, never copied to a server, and never analyzed anywhere but on your own device. We never see them.
Photo library permission.
iOS asks your permission before the app can access your photos. The app uses this access solely to display and, at your direction, delete photos. You can change or revoke this permission at any time in your iPhone's Settings under Privacy.
Notifications.
If you turn on the optional daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. These notifications are generated on your phone and are never sent through us or any outside service.
Children's privacy.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy.
If the app ever changes how it handles data, this policy will be updated to reflect it, with a new date above.
